TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

All animals boarding with us at must be in good health, and any medical conditions must be  discussed with us before to us being able to board your pet. We can refuse to accept your pet if we feel they are showing signs of illness or injury that is contagious. This is for the benefit of your own pet and that of other boarders. Medication for a non-contagious existing medical problem can be administered with the pet owners consent and written instruction. Your pet will not mix with any other animals whilst in our care, except for their own cage friend, if they have one. Accommodation are cleaned as required and pets checked at least twice every day.

We will ensure that all pets have fresh hay, a selection of fresh vegetables / fruit, and water every day. Any special dietary requirements or treats and dry food must be provided by the owner along with emergency contact details.

Rabbits should have been vaccinated against Myxomatosis, and VHD strain 1 and 2 before coming to us.

Rabbits and guinea pigs will receive daily exercise in an outdoor run (subject to weather conditions), which will be secure and safe.

If your pet becomes ill during his/her stay with us, we will inform you or your emergency contact immediately, and consult either your vet or our own. If your pet then requires medical attention from the vet we will transport him/her there for treatment. We will not charge for this service, but any costs for treatment by the vet must be paid by you, the owner. If you have bonded pets staying with us and we need to separate them due to illness, there will be no charge for the additional accommodation.  However, if they need to be separated due to fighting, you will be required to pay an extra charge. Any extra costs will be charged on collection of your pet.

In the unlikely event that your pet passes away whilst in our care, we will contact you on your emergency contact information immediately. Unfortunately we do not have the facilities to keep your pet under these circumstances, so they would be taken to our vets where they will await your instructions. Please note that as with medical treatment, any fees charged by our vets are payable in full by the owner. If your pet is elderly and you believe that this might happen during their stay with us, you can leave instructions with us on arrival.

We accept no liability in the unlikely event that your pet becomes ill or passes away whilst staying with us. All pets are left entirely at owner’s risk. We do take every precaution to keep your pet safe but accidents do happen and we are not to be be held responsible in the unlikely chance that this should happen.

We accept no liability for any injury sustained to you whilst on our premises.

 

We do not ask for a deposit when you make your booking, so all bookings are held in good faith. However, this does mean that a hutch is reserved for you, so please inform us ASAP if you need to cancel a booking.

Please provide as much notice as you can should you require any changes to your booking. We will wherever possible try to accommodate those changes.

Full payment will be due on the day of arrival and must be payed by cash. We do not have the facilities to accept payments by debit / credit card or cheques.

 

In the event of an animal not being collected within 10 days of the due collection date and you not aswering your emergency phone number we reserve the right to re-home the animal. Any fees incurred as a result of the re-homing process, plus the fees for the extended stay at small pet hotel are payable in full by the owner. 

 

Whilst your pet is in the care of small pet hotel, we will take every precaution to safeguard your animal. 

Please note that we operate a booking system for visitors. This ensures that you can be given the time you and your pet require during your visit and avoids parking congestion. We ask that you please try to keep to the delivery / collection times that have been arranged.

If you are likely to be delayed for the collection of your pet, please advise us if at all possible. Should the collection move back to a later date, then the additional boarding fees applicable will be payable upon collection.

We do require your phone number and name but we will not give/sell this personal information to anyone.

In order to board your pet we require you to sign a copy of these terms and conditions handed to you when you drop your pet off.
